<div></div>
<div>Unemployed and single, an American Dad struggles to provide a stable life for his tomboy</div>
<div>daughter, 10-year-old Kid.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Despite their shared passion for baseball and daily discussions about their beloved SF Giants,</div>
<div>America&#8217;s favorite past time is just an escape from a routine as stuck in a rut as Dad&#8217;s job</div>
<div>prospects.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Day after day, Dad gets up before the sun, squeezing Kid a glass of orange juice before he bikes</div>
<div>off in search of a job. Day after day, he returns home jobless; his only bounty is a sack of oranges</div>
<div>pilfered from a lush yard on the rich side of town.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Home alone during a break from school, tomboy Kid does what kids do: she raises a ruckus.</div>
<div>Ghost riding her bike&#8211;into walls, bushes and finally, a neighbor&#8217;s taillight, bored Kid feels a rush</div>
<div>she hasn&#8217;t felt in the long months since her dad&#8217;s depression dampened their otherwise tight</div>
<div>relationship.</div>
<div></div>
<div>When she gets into hot water with an angry, spiteful neighbor, she does what she can to shield</div>
<div>her dad from one more problem on his shoulders. But when the neighbor confronts Dad,</div>
<div>challenging his ability to raise Kid right, the kid-sized problem quickly escalates.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Dad and kid find that two wrongs don&#8217;t make a right, but right now is all that matters&#8211;and all they</div>
<div>have.</div>
<div></div>
